At Pinnacle Physical Therapy we treat a full spectrum of Sports and Orthopedic injuries. Our staff has training in the Graston Technique, Trigger Point Dry Needling, kinesiotaping, and spinal manipulation.
Graston Technique is an advancement in traditional soft tissue mobilization designed to address scar and soft tissue dysfunctions commonly found with orthopedic injuries. The technique uses six contoured stainless steel instruments which are designed to adapt to various parts of the body and identify restrictions. Deeper restrictions are able to be elevated and treated because the metal surface of the instruments do not compress like the fat pads of the hand. Common conditions include plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, scar tissue, tennis elbow, heel spurs, achilles tendonitis, cervical and lumbar pain. Learn more

Trigger Point Dry Needling
Dry Needling is a technique used by physical therapists to treat myofascial pain that uses a dry needle, without medication or injection, which is inserted into areas of the muscle known as trigger points. A trigger point describes a taut band of skeletal muscle located within a larger muscle group. Trigger points can be tender to the touch and can refer pain to distant parts of the body. Physical therapists utilize dry needling with the goal of releasing/inactivating the trigger points and relieving pain and decreasing muscle tension.
