Barbara St. Jean
Barbara St Jean is the Clinical Coordinator/Partner and Spine Care Coordinator at Pinnacle Physical Therapy. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology (2003) and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2006). Barbara joined the Pinnacle team in 2008 coming to us from Lawrence General Hospital with a strong background in acute care rehabilitation.
Since joining Pinnacle, Barbara has become experienced in working with athletes recovering from sports related injuries as well as pre/post operative orthopedic conditions. She is certified in both the Graston Technique as well as Kinesio Taping.
Barbara has also furthered her education in the area of spine care. Back pain can affect 30-40% of adults each year. Barbara uses a well rounded approach in her evaluation, treatment and prevention of pain in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Through her studies, Barbara has learned some of the most current evidenced based treatments that have been proven to resolve, manage and prevent pain in the spine. She also works closely with local physicians, such as Orthopedics, Neurosurgeons and Pain Management Specialists, to provide the most appropriate care for each individual patient.
Outside of the clinic, Barbara and husband Kurt enjoy time with their two children Mark and Sarah. She also likes to spend free time playing pool with teammates in the American Pool Players Association. She has played in the National championships in Las Vegas for two years in a row.
